Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are digital assets that allow digital artists and collectors to trade digital art for money.

How?

Artists upload and “mint” their digital art as NFTs on marketplaces like OpenSea, Foundation, Superrare, Manifold, etc, setting a price or auction. Collectors can purchase these NFTs using cryptocurrency, gaining verifiable proof of ownership recorded on the blockchain.

While the digital file can still be copied, the NFT proves who owns the original. Artists can also earn royalties from future resales, making NFTs a powerful tool for initial sales and ongoing income.

The majority of my art is digitized using blockchain. It was shocking to see people were willing to spend money on a collection of digital images.
